Evaluation of Visual Aesthetic Components on The Quality of Urban Public Spaces (Case Study: Azimieh Karaj)

Abstract This research is related to the evaluation of the components of the beauty of the environment on the quality of public spaces in the Azimieh area of Karaj city. Four components of the quality of public spaces and fourteen components of the beauty of the environment have been selected. In the next step, the relationship between these two categories of variables and their situation at the regional level has been evaluated. The research method is descriptive-survey. A checklist of components was prepared. SPSS software was used for data analysis and Vaycor ranking technique was used to rank neighborhoods. The determined indicators of the quality of urban public spaces using the KMO index have obtained a value higher than 0.7 and the components of visual aesthetics of the city have obtained a value higher than 0.8, and the reliability value of the items using Cronbach's alpha coefficient has been 0.702. The correlation test was used to analyze the relationship between the components of the quality of public spaces, and the Kruskal-Wallis test was used to analyze the hypothesis related to the existence of a significant difference between the components, due to the non-normality of the data. In the next step, using the Vicor ranking technique, the thirteen neighborhoods were ranked based on the quality variables of public spaces and visual aesthetics. In the GIS environment, the information layer related to the indicators should be formed and spatial distribution maps should be drawn. The results of the research showed that there is a significant difference between the components of the quality of public spaces and the beauty of the environment at the level of the studied area. Also, the ranking results show that in neighborhoods with low levels of beauty components (neighborhood: Moradab Hill, Izadpanah St., Hosseinabad), they have lower environmental quality as a result of urban landscape quality and visual well-being. In contrast, the neighborhoods of Mehran Street, Esbi Street and Resalat Street are in a good condition in terms of the quality of the environment and the beauty of the city view.

Abstract Cities as living places create the most desirability on the quality of life of their residents when they meet their demands. These demands are in the form of realizing values such as landscape beauty, tranquility, diversity, etc. It finds meaning. If each of these values is not desirable in a person’s living environment, it will affect his perception and feeling of place and consequently on the level of satisfaction with the living environment. The present study analyzes the role of urban landscape components on the quality of urban environment and environmental behavior of karaj citizens in the form of indicators of identity and sense of belonging to place and balance and visual quality, somehow investigating the relationship between human behavioral reactions in relation to urban landscapes after engaging human senses in the environment. The required data were collected through library studies, field visits and checklist completion, and data analysis was performed using Pearson’s co-orum method, single-sample T-test and regression analysis. In regression analysis of three indices, urban landscape index was considered as dependent variable and other indicators were considered as independent variables. Based on the results of balance and visual quality and place belonging with impact coefficients of 0.453 and 0.192, respectively, balance and visual quality had the most effect on urban landscape. In the meantime, due to the high impact factor of balance index and visual quality on urban landscape and the fact that the authors of balance index and visual quality are mainly aesthetic features of city and neighborhood landscape It can play a significant role in improving the urban landscape of Karaj. In fact, urban environments that have a good quality in terms of the mentioned indicators, people’s interest in presence in urban space, sense of belonging in their place of residence and work, and action on environmental behaviors will be greater.
The role of climatic migration in reducing crop productivity using GIS and IO method (Case study: Sistan and Baluchestan)

Abstract Agriculture is one of the most important sectors that are graetly affected by climate change.Reducing the level of
agriculture, reducing soil fertility, reducing water level, increasing animal mortality, reducing farmers’ income,
increasing food and product prices, growth of unemployment, etc. One of its consequences is. Considering
the location of Sistan and Baluchestan province in the driest region of the country and increasing drought, this
study aimed to investigate the role of climatic migration in reducing crop productivity by usingGIS and IO
method in Sistan and Baluchestan province.
-For this purpose, first, precipitation data (mm) of temperature and available water were studied in 1991-
1400. The results show that rainfall, seasonal temperature and trend water rate decrease, increase and decrease
respectively, which has a significant effect on agricultural yield in the region.Then, by overlay method and
statistical analysis in GIS environment, by preparing slope maps, for elevation through overlapping layers,
land shape map was prepared and then by overlapping the land shape layer, land use, soil and vegetation
distribution map of drought distribution in the region and information layers, the relationship between drought
and agricultural crops of agricultural lands of the region was prepared
-. The results indicate that the area under cultivation of the studied crops (wheat, barley, corn, potatoes)
has changed, which is a negative value compared to the base year. Considering the position of Sistan and

results of this study, a considerable percentage of agricultural lands are no longer suitable for cultivation and
another percentage is in a sensitive and deteriorating situation. In Sistan and Baluchestan province, the rate of
drought years is increasing, and increasing severe and acute droughts can affect agriculture and consequently,
employment in related jobs and consequently, migration. Environmental problems such as drought in Sistan
and Baluchestan province have also created problems for people’s lives that people have been forced to
give up their homes and lives and migrate to other cities of the province. . These migrations certainly have
different effects and results such as increasing marginalization, increasing the price of housing and land in
migratory provinces, reducing the level of agriculture, reducing soil fertility, reducing water level, increasing
animal mortality, reducing farmers’ income, Increasing the price of food and products, lowering the quality of
agricultural products, creating problems and cultural encounters, unemployment, etc. Therefore, it is expected
that to control the consequences of these migrations with strong planning and management to prevent any
crisis and problems in the country.
