Publication Ethics
In pursuit of providing unlimited access for researchers to scholarly publications, the “Journal of Urban studies on Space and Place” is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, making it an Open Access publication. Under this license, the copyright of the papers is retained by the author(s), while the publishing rights are granted to the “Journal of Urban studies on Space and Place”. This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that proper and explicit credit is given to the published paper in the journal.
Benefits of Open Access:
All esteemed stakeholders of this journal, including authors, reviewers, the editorial board, administrators, and office staff, consider themselves bound by the ethical charter and will exert their utmost effort to realize these principles.
Respect for Intellectual Property Rights: Every effort will be made to ensure that all authors’ moral rights are preserved by accurately presenting their details, and to prevent the unauthorized publication of materials submitted to this journal by others. Furthermore, articles will not be made available to third parties before their official publication in the journal; only the journal’s officials will have access to the submitted manuscripts.
Fair and Expert Peer Review: Decisions regarding the scientific merit of papers at any stage will be made without consideration of gender, ethnicity, race, sexual orientation, religion, political, or ideological affiliations. All articles will be sent to expert reviewers without disclosing the author’s identity.
Confidentiality: The identities of authors prior to publication, and the identities of reviewers, will be consistently protected confidentially. Until the aforementioned time, no one other than the journal’s officials will have access to these details or the paper files.
