Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

The review process for this journal is conducted as a double-blind peer review. Therefore, authors are kindly requested to submit the original manuscript file without their names and identifying information.

The process of reviewing, accepting, and publishing papers is free of charge.

The initial review and evaluation of the papers by the specialized secretary and the editor-in-chief is estimated to take 10 working days.

The overall acceptance time for papers (from submission to final acceptance) ranges from a minimum of 1 month to a maximum of 3 months.

The process from submission to publication in the "Journal of Urban Studies on Space and Place" involves six general stages:

  1. Paper Registration and Submission (by the corresponding author)
  2. Initial Evaluation by the editor-in-chief and the specialized secretary of the journal
  3. Paper Peer Review
  4. Final Acceptance and Submission of Supplementary Materials (final Persian and English versions) by the author, followed by final approval.
  5. Editing and Page Layout
  6. Printing and Publication
