Author Guidelines and Submission Process
Authors are kindly requested to study the following points and to read and sign the Declaration of Work Publication, Conflict of Interest, and Commitment forms before uploading their manuscripts. This ensures that their articles do not conflict with the journal’s criteria and conditions during the initial evaluation. Article Acceptance Process
The article acceptance process in the"Journal of Urban Studies on Space and Place" includes an initial review by the journal’s editorial board, and if approved by the editorial board, a specialized peer review by academic reviewers.
The peer review of articles in the "Journal of Urban Studies on Space and Place" is conducted in a double-blind manner. In the review process, the article is first reviewed by two expert reviewers in the relevant field. If both reviewers approve at this stage, the article will be accepted. If one reviewer approves and the other rejects, the article will be sent to a third reviewer, whose decision will be determinative for the acceptance or rejection of the article. Principles Regarding Author Contributions
All authors must have directly participated in the research and writing of the article and must accept responsibility for all content presented in the article. The names of individuals and organizations that have not directly participated in the production of the article but have only influenced its development should be mentioned in the “Acknowledgments” section. (In articles with more than one author) All authors must agree on the selection of the corresponding author (for follow-ups and future correspondence) and the order of author names. All authors of the article must sign the Declaration of Work Publication, Conflict of Interest, and Commitment forms before submission. The corresponding author must upload these forms along with the manuscript when submitting the article. Authors should note that all follow-ups and correspondence regarding the article (from the manuscript submission stage to subsequent notifications) are the responsibility of the corresponding author.
